"The Possessed Devil Conjurer"
Just found August Strindberg's book "Legender"(Legends) for 10p in a thrift store.
Beautiful, dark cover on this second edition published in 1912.
The book was written in 1898 as a sequel to "Inferno", still in a crisis of occult obsessions, pseudo-scientific experimentation and paranoid psychosis.
